Title: Re: Pictures of busterfree's SE34I.32 Post by Hipfan on 06/12/12 at 04:27:47 NICE! If you are still driving those pair of Forte IIs, I would love to hear your comments on how they sound with the SE34I.3. |

Title: Re: Pictures of busterfree's SE34I.32 Post by Lord Soth on 06/12/12 at 16:06:36 Thanks for sharing those lovely pics. I love the way the Gold volume knob matches the Gold base of the EL34 treasures. :) |
Title: Re: Pictures of busterfree's SE34I.32 Post by busterfree on 06/12/12 at 16:56:23 I am using this new amp with the Trapezium desktop speakers for now. After a couple of months, I will pull out the Forte II and give them a shot. My long term plan is to use the SE34I.32 with the Forte II. It sounds good out of the box. All tubes installed are new. I am sure it will get better with time. |
Title: Re: Pictures of busterfree's SE34I.32 Post by Rivieraranch on 06/12/12 at 23:47:20 I did not realize how stunning the light colored wood base looks on these amps with the white tops. That is a ZEN amp next to it I suppose. |
Title: Re: Pictures of busterfree's SE34I.32 Post by busterfree on 06/13/12 at 15:27:42 Yes. That is an SE84C+ in the picture next to the SE34I.32. |

Title: Re: Pictures of busterfree's SE34I.32 Post by 78 archivist on 02/15/13 at 19:41:02 What kind of output tubes are those? And how would you compare them with the 'stock' JJ EL34's? |
Title: Re: Pictures of busterfree's SE34I.32 Post by busterfree on 02/15/13 at 22:24:38 They are Psvane 6CA7 tubes. They were my first try at expensive Chinese tubes, and I will probably not buy them again. I am not sure that the high cost is worth it to me. I did not order tubes with my amp. I have not compared them against any other tubes. |
Title: Re: Pictures of busterfree's SE34I.32 Post by Pale Rider on 02/15/13 at 23:17:49 Those look a bit different from the Psvane 6CA7 TII tubes I just received from Grant Fidelity. Busterfree, are those the T series? |
Title: Re: Pictures of busterfree's SE34I.32 Post by busterfree on 02/16/13 at 01:41:24 Yes. T series. Not the latest version. |
