Title: Gauss 4883xr Post by pargon on 04/16/06 at 15:57:49 Am "shopping" for enclosure style to best use some Gauss 4883xr. This is an 18" driver that the boys over at Cult of the Perpetually Baffled say is not built for IB applications. Based on reading there, and the Xmax of these drivers (6.4mm from center position), I tend to agree, albeit ignorantly. I have looked at the el pipo version one (with box to front mount driver), and would like to consider the Imperial. As this driver is built for horn loaded or vented applications I assume that it would Imperialize well. What am I missing? Thanks.
