Hellooooo.........

Been away for quite a while due to work, home PC issues, etc, etc...

Good news is I have had plenty of quality listening time.

Bad news is I've missed a lot of new and current news around these parts. Looks like there has been a lot happening 'round these parts recently.

Anyway.... was trying to read up on the alternate tuning and such, but am much more intrigued by the HDT IIs, and am interested in finding out if my original HDTs could easily be upgraded to add the ribbon tweeter. I have been recently enjoying a friend of mines new Coindident flagship models and their smooth ribbon tweeters and how niice they are with cymbals(I'm a drummer) without any harshness...

Yes and it's easier than the alt tuning. The cabinet stays the same, with the original passsives and ports. Just the driver changes and the ribbon is added.
