I figured i would try out the deathbox but i am on a budget. I ordered 2 pyramid 10 " subsand listened to them in a sealed box with 1 cu ft each, 150 watts rms, and they got about 1/3 as loud as the MTX subs i took out and the SQ was terrible i could not even turn it up 1/2 way when they bottom out and distort like He**. i put them clamshelled in the DB and they got louder and just as good of sq as the sealed MTX. I am impressed since these woofers cost me $20.50 each from MCM electronics. If these sound this good i wonder how a better woofer would sound in it!!!! My next project i guess. Thanks. |
