How to get the right size kit the first time!

1)
Scrape away the old foam edge

2)
Find the outside diameter of your cone
(indicated by red arrow)

3)
Select a kit with a slightly smaller inside diameter so it overlaps.

Just that simple.

ALSO,
For your information, foam kits typically come in two styles,
FLAT & ANGLE ATTACH

KITS WITH an "F" designation contain "FLAT ATTACH" foams
example: the G10F KIT is one.

Speaker cones that have a steep angle and no flat lip along the edge should use angle attach foams.

For example; a G10A KIT would contain angle
attach foams where a G10F KIT would contain flat attach foams.

TO GET THE CORRECT SIZE KIT FOR YOUR SPEAKERS IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU SCRAPE AWAY THE EXISTING FOAM SURROUND FROM THE CONE AND MEASURE THE ACTUAL DIAMETER OF THE SPEAKER CONE ITSELF.

ONCE YOU KNOW THE ACTUAL DIAMETER OF THE SPEAKER CONE ITSELF, YOU SIMPLY SELECT A KIT THAT HAS AN Inside Diameter BETWEEN 1/4 & 1/2 INCH SMALLER. THIS WAY YOU HAVE ENOUGH OVERLAP TO GLUE THE NEW SURROUND TO THE SPEAKER CONE. Note: The Inside Diameters are listed for all of our kits.

This means that a certain amount of tolerance is acceptable and it's okay if your new foam varies in size by a small amount when compared to the original..

PLEASE DO NOT E-MAIL ASKING WHICH KIT WORKS FOR A SPECIFIC MAKE AND MODEL
