Chris for some reason I thought you owned a pair of ERR's.  Go buy some so you can do the experiment.  ( Deckert has a large well damped room. Speakers should sound good there.) I'm certain that anyone who has a pair of radials and can keep them at least three feet from a room boundary will have very nice sound quality.
