Steve,
When I switch on from standby there is a very loud pop from the speakers. It's a little scary because it is so loud. I think I read somewhere that it is normal and won't hurt my speakers. Is that correct? Embarrassed

I never used the standbys, just left them on, and when turning on the power, I never heard a pop.

Seriously...  I haven't been so excited about listening to music on a couple of years. I've been searching for synergy for the past 5 years with amps, speakers, cables, preamps, tubes, hybrids, etc. I never thought to try SET.  I heard a Torii MkII last month at a friends and so I started reading about Decware. The rest is history... I am addicted (again)!

Yes I get it. That is a beautiful amp! Great news it re-awakened the love of listening! I love my Torii, but there is something about your amp too. That open, liquid clarity is just brilliant!
