Why not try it? Your receiver I assume has a pre-amp out? Could sound pretty good.

I've just checked this out and unfortunately not, it is just stereo receiver so I'm guessing that was bad idea, any way Big Thanks for your quick response

If the receiver has a tape output you can feed that signal into the SE84C. I did this recently with mine with great results.
