Awesome!

So it can be left on 24/7 great.

Question on the USB vs Coax ...

For the same source ... i.e., PC with say 44.1/16 data stream using Foobar/ASIO

My sound card (E-MU) puts out digital or I can plug ZDAC (when it arrives) to the PC ..

I presume (neglecting the cables) you take the USB stream and pass it to the decoder or if via SPDIF u take it there directly ..

So in theory they should both sound the same ?

Posts: 2225	Re: ZDAC-1 Owner's Manual Reply #2 - 06/04/10 at 17:18:44 Hi Mpanwar, Yes, both should sound the same, but using the digital out from the computer would allow you to bypass the ZDAC1's USB input chip and go directly to the CS8415 receiver chip with higher initial sample rates.
