Are these resistors in the right place for these values:
From left to right: 2.7K, 1.5K, 1.5K, 2.7K
On the PCB they are between the preamp tube socket and the gain pot.

This image has the resistors on the other side of the board from the tube holder. You should be able to work it out though ...

Thanks for the image. I checked the resistance on a multimeter before soldering them into place. But on making a final check with those resistors in place, the readings were different than specified.
A quick check with Steve reminded me those resistors were wired in parallel and would not give rated values.
When all else fails....check the schematic!
