Just Received my CSP2 From Repair (Read 1119 times)

Rivieraranch Seasoned Member Posts: 1109	Just Received my CSP2 From Repair 04/01/10 at 12:19:16 Seems the pots had gone to pot, so my home unit was repaired under the wonderful DECWARE Lifetime warranty. It was returned today and now really shines.

Home CSP2: That microphonic Electro Harmonix 6922 I had out front began to hum; so out it goes. It is doing a terrific job with the input from the MINI TORII. It picks up the sound signature of the MINI and brings you to earphone heaven.

Office CSP2: A little voice kept telling me, "test the input tube," an Electro Harmonix 6922 that had been in use for quite a while. I brought it home to test and see that one side died; and worse, no funeral! No wonder I was having to turn up the trim pot on one side more than the other to get a good sound out of the TABOO there.

The CSP2's are great but you have to use good tubes and test them once in a while.
