If I could only change one thing, I would upgrade the input tubes. Upgrading the input tubes with good quality cryo treated ones, will help a great deal in the high and low end departments. I just got a pair of these: http://tubedepot.com/bsct-12at7-janphilips.html and the improvement in my bass was massive.
