HI,

Here are my queries
1. I Was not able to find the Death box II plans for 12 inch drive. can some one send me the link? (I have ordered the password).
2. How good are the above mentioned drivers?
3. I am building this for my home, this will be run on a lm3886 amp of 200w rms. I need smooth and deep bass. So how good this design will be for requirement considering one of the above drivers with this model

thanks

You want the DBK-212 for the 12" driver and home use. The Death box-II could could be scaled  up for a 12" driver, but I recommend using the DBK212 plans on the site first.

Your second link was no good, can you fix the link?

The first link is for Pioneer TS-W307D4 model driver
The second one is for the Sony XS-LP121P 1200 model driver.

@Shreekanth

I am from Hyderabad. Can you please PM me your yahoo/Gtalk id so that we can chat on the same......I would have requested the same through PM, but I don;t have 5 posts here to send a PM  and I don't wanna spam others threads

thanks

Here is the link to the DBK-212
http://www.decware.com/newsite/dbk12.htm

I think your thinking it is in with the DBK-10 plans its a completely different cabinet.

I built my DB II today.. Satisfactory results already...
But the mistake I did is I made Y shape vent, instead of D shape....

I actually did not understood the marking given on the Panel D about the D vent.

Is the marking X/Y inch is the height and the Diameter respectively for  the D? or does it mean something else?

some one please reply, I will modify my DBII.

thanks

Thenvk,

If you are building a deathbox with the "D" shaped port you are building the 10" version, no?  the 12" version has the bell shaped port.

Or am I missing someting?

Thanks Shreekant...I thought I was loosing it, whats new right?

I was trying to post the  formula but couldn't figure out how, the radius of the arc is 4"  not exact but close enough.
