Looking over my music choices, it's apparent that I have a thing for the female voice.

I'm on vacation this week, so I'm finally getting some play time.

I wish the MA was ready for this week, I really need to unwind.

LR, glad you're getting more play time in.  I'll go back later and listen to the links you gave. It took me a while to get the music cranked up this morning.  My NOS National Union 5U4 that had to be "wiggled" the past few days to get it to work, refused to function despite all my efforts.  Moved it to the other side of the Torii then even to the CSP 3...I think it may be Kaput.  But we shouldn't feel too bad, after all, it's about 70 years old.  I just wish I'd gotten more than 3 days use out of it.  So to get the music going I used the Chinese 5U4 that came stock in my ZP3 with the remaining National Union 5U4 that still works in the Torii, for now.

Now to the LP spinning...this is why we put up with tube frustration.   Georg Solti's 1972  Decca recording of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony...amazing.  I am not that knowledgeable about Classical recordings but this has to be in the top ten at least.  Mark.

The waiting is the hardest part. But hey, 'mother couple of months and you'll have it.

Lon please, I'm hoping it's weeks, not months!

I have another week off around Xmas, and if Steve and crew don't get too busy, they might actually have the MA done around Xmas (total speculation - figured while stalking the amp build list).

Listening to Best of MapleShade v3 Jazz Grooves I got a rip from a friend to check out. I think this is the right cover.

Next LP...if the first cut is any indication this will be wonderful.  Mark.

PS...LR, I hate to be the one to break this to you but it always takes longer than you think....this from my three waiting periods.  And of course my on going wait for the HR-1's but I'm not complaining...it's worth every minute of anticipation.

Playing some stuff that I heard a lot in my formative years. Enjoyed this stuff as Prince is a *hell* of a songwriter, and under-appreciated guitarist, but I never really cottoned to music of the pop '80s like I did the music of the '60s and then rock and metal in general.

Having trouble sleeping...so I'm listening to this while researching the PS Audio Power Plants. I'm pretty close to just going ahead and ordering one since there is a good deal at Music Direct for the P3 right now...It's a big step for me...

I'm skipping around through this one...it's MP3, so I can hardly stand it - the sound is "itchy". I'm sure that's only going to get worse with a better amp...However, there are some fun tunes on this! (Young Frankenstein! LOL)
