As Lon has mentioned, the military version of 6N1P is excellent too.I stopped using any 6922, 6DJ8 in that position. I also got a bunch direct from Russia with the Reflector Corp, Saratov designation logo. A Russian supplier by the name of "Zoltov" was very good. American currency must be worth quite a bit there to be selling so cheap? They make pretty damn good tubes.

I know, $3 bucks a tube. I can't get a sub for that! :-)
RobLikesTubes has some interesting observations on the 6N2P input
on a strapped pair of Selects. Not sure I can use that on a single Select? Anyone know?
